Slam sections in videos. I hate them. How does watching someone eat shit make you want to go out and ride. It makes me want to stay at home where it's warm and safe. Ban slam sections now! canvas your local mp, send someone a petition.

Welcome to the Team...
Lance McDermott! Only kidding, we couldn't get him so we'll have to settle for Surrey trails ripper Tom Pinto from Epsom. The 17 year old has been on the scene a while now and has impressed hugely. He loves to ride his bike and with his trailboss style and digging skills he'll be a great addition to the team. Look out for his interview in MBUK soon...

Devils Dyke and Jimmys
trails yeah? Spoke to Jimmy sunday and he had tuesday off so went to his trails for the day. They are such good crafted lumps of mud and i got very excited, you know when a little pee comes out...? Anyway, met Roo also and he took some sick pictures...

Jimmy gets bored of his trails very easily now after the years of riding them, and with devils dyke (Epsom) being just down the road he suggested we go and ride their lumps of crafted mud. So we met up with another good friend Pinto and rode with him and the other locals...

Epsom are the best trails i've been to since my bicycle stunt riding career started, everything is so perfect and works spot on. We sessioned there for a few hours, talked about random stuff, watched Jimmy go silly high and case from one of his mad boosts resulting in backwheel breakage. Check out flowtography for roo's amazing pics, and thank you Jimmy and Epsom locals for a rowdy day.....

Summer Fun
Hello interweb people. My first update on here of many hopefully, just thought i'd share my summer shenanigans and bike stunt riding with you. Its been an amazing summer really, met lots of old friends, been to some rad places and had alot of good riding sessions. In convenient colour coded bullet point form here are the highlights:
- Riding my trails all summer after a winters worth of digging
- Clubbing with slaughter and loxley in the sweatbox, they know how to move!
- all the places i've been and rode/partied/swam/laughed
- people i've met and havnt seen for ages, woburn boysies, milfood boysies, jimmy and pinto, wisley golf club, chicksands stunters, lec and stu, roo, cheltbmx.com and any others ive missed
- inventing and playing the 'awkward' game with wilkins and lec which involves being awkard around people you dont know
- Gethin my riding partner from g-town
- getting drunk and going to partys
- gloucester cheeseroll
here are a few pictures which will help me remember this amazing summer, which was cut slightly short with collarbone breakage. remember, keep off the dirty internet forums and ride bikes....
Crazy Techno Germans
Man i invented a hydraulic gyro about three years ago. The avid factory was going to make it but it was too expensive. Bum.
I think im obsessed with gyros and barspin stuff. Maybe i should get some help.
The German dudes have this Tr!xer thing out soon. (notice the ! - that makes it extra cool ya know). Chris Smith, Chopper and Lance all have one, and they supposed to work ok. But man it is fugly. Mine was prettier, who knows maybe i'll make it one day.
Anyway im getting some in to test, i'll let you know how it goes. And hopefully production ones wont look so much like an ACS rotor from '85

Ollie Wilkins superstar
Ollie Wilkins is a really funny guy, I like getting to see Ollie and Mike from DMR at shows and events. The Milfhood massive have been quiet this year, I guess i missed hooking up with them all at the Bike Show. Man it sucked that it got cancelled. As crap as it always was, it was good to see everyone in one place and watch the guys terrorising Harvester waitresses.
Anyway the point of this post is this:

Ollie, what the feck are you doing man?
1) Barrel Roll
2) 360 Flip attempt
3) Oops i slipped as i left the jump
Im thinking its somewhere between 1 and 2. Any ideas? Either way its fooking rad man. Props.

Forum
Strewth, its only taken a year and a bit and now we have a blog, a forum - and dont tell anyone but we even have a myspace now. Not sure quite why we have the myspace but hey, all the cool kids seem to have 'em so if you cant beat em join 'em eh?
We think the forum will be really useful for existing riders, potential riders and also anyone that just wants to come and talk shit on there. All we ask is that you keep the shit separate to the useful stuff so we dont get bogged down with junk.
So head on over, post a thread and hopefully we'll get this forum working really well. click here to visit the Static forum

Longshot Barspin Kit

We just took delivery of our new Longshot Gyro cables, we're packaging these up with an upper, lower and hollowbolt for just £10. The lower is the only aftermarket cable we're aware of thats long enough to run on an MTB, so no more farting around required making your own cables. Naturally they work really well with the C-Panel stem too. They'll be up on the site for sale in the next week.
NOW AVAILABLE to purchase online Click here to check 'em out...

Big things
Well you may have noticed the Static site has been, er kinda Static for some time.
Things are about to change. A lot.
We've always done Static because its something we love doing. We never imagined making a lot of money doing it, we just knew we had to try it out and see what happened.
Well after a year and a bit of slogging it out, fitting Static around "proper" jobs and generally scraping by, we've taken a big step and decided to go for it in a big way.
2007 is going to be a massive year for Static, we have some really nice new products to show you and for once, the ability to actually get them made and available to everyone.
We're so chuffed that nearly every sPark owner has mailed or called to tell us how much they love the frame, we hope the new Plan B and Evil Twin will win as many riders over as well.
We'll be trying this whole blogging thing out so sign up to the feed or keep checking the blogspot page...
cheers
